Hi Joe,

I remember this was discussed during the EM course at Copenhagen recently.
For sure the proposed way of Grigory will work, but your workflow is very
common
and I think it make sense allow this case without the extra step of the
subset
protocol. We will review this and get back to you.

As Grigory pointed out, it would be good to know which version are you
using.
