Dear David,

SCIPION_USER_DATA is defined on a per-user basis in
~/.config/scipion/scipion.conf , if you would like to have your project in
a different location, you could in principle create a symlink
in ~/ScipionUserData/projects/ folder.
Is this what you are looking for?
