Dear Jolanta, In the next version (that we plan to release soon), you have an explicit button for importing a project. Nonetheless, it just will ease the underlying mechanism. All projects in Scipion are self-contained folders. It means that you could move the project to another machine and you could continue working with it. The projects are located by default in: $HOME/ScipionUserData/projects/ So, if you copied a project folder coming from a different place into that folder, the new project should appears after you open Scipion the next time. Additionally, you could create a link in that folder pointing to the actual project folder and should work as well. Hope that helps, Jose Miguel On Tue, Apr 4, 2017 at 2:36 PM, Jolanta Kopec <jol...@sg...> wrote: > Dear All, > > > > I was wondering, if it is possible to import a project to Scipion. > > > > I used scipion on a different computer and now I would like to use another > computer to finish processing. > > > > I could not find a button for importing project. > > I also tried to change the path in USER configuration to the path where I > have copied the files, but this did not work either. > > > > Could you please help. > > > > Best Wishes, > > Jola Kopec > > > > ------------------------------------------------------------ > ------------------ > Check out the vibrant tech community on one of the world's most > engaging tech sites, Slashdot.org! http://sdm.link/slashdot > _______________________________________________ > scipion-users mailing list > sci...@li... > https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/scipion-users > > |
