I want to change the background color of NULL characters from black to white.
Control characters are displayed with inverted colours in a rounded rectangle order to unite the symbol into a distinguishable object. Switching the colours back to normal would make the NUL object look very similar to the three letters N U L.
I want to view files with the NUL's suppressed, hidden, or de-emphasized. Is there a way to accomplish this? My files are almost all nulls and it's difficult to find the non-null characters because the NUL's are so prominent.
