Syntax highlighting is a big part of text editors these days, especially when editing HTML files. But Scintilla based editors highlight HTML nicely in html files but fail to highlight sections that contain CSS, Javascript, or server-side code.

I think its long overdue that Scintilla be updated to provide this capability.

Hope you can do this soon.

Thanks
JB

Everyone thinks their requests are important. The priority field is used by the developers to communicate the priority to implement a feature. It should not be set by feature requesters.

The HTML lexer does highlight JavaScript and server-side code.

    Sorry for the High priority.

The HTML lexer really needs to include CSS styling up to CSS3.
Does it need to be updated for HTML5???
What server-side code does it support? JScript/VBScipt/PHP/JSP?????

    Thanks

If you are having difficulty understanding how to use Scintilla or what its capabilities are, you could try the mailing list scintilla-interest@googlegroups.com.
