Bidirectional support is not planned for inclusion in Scintilla. It is difficult and not a high priority. To be added, either someone must contribute an implementation or pay for me to implement it. I expect this would take multiple months.

Since Scintilla is a great, mature and widely used Editing Component Library, it might be a succesful Google Summer of Code Project for a Student to implement Features like that.

Can I add my vote for bidirectional text. From an international perspective I would say this ought to be a high priority.
