I quite often switch Line End Characters. Unfortunately I have to type e.g. space and then backspace, otherwise Save doesn't work.

Since Line End Characters affects the file contents, I think it should mark the buffer as modified so that Save works.

Just switching line end characters does not change any line end characters. That is what the Options | Convert Line End Characters command does.

You are right. But I would prefer this command to actually change the line end characters.

If you want different behaviour then add your own commands to the Tools menu.

How do I make a command which operates on SciTE buffer?

    With a Lua script.
