#425 Hilighting of Doccomments in PHP

Scintilla (356)

I'm using geany as my favourite editor since a few months now. I already posted this issue there in the mailing list, but the developers there told me, that this is an scintilla issue:

I'm working very often with big PHP-Projects, where it is useful to use Doccomments, introduced with /** instead of /*. I think it would be a very nice feature, if this would be shown in another color than the "normal" comments.
Additionally there could be special hilighting or the font would e.g. displayed bold like it was described in 1498421.

It would be really nice if this would be implemented in one if the next Versions, so that a new version could be added to geany where this works.

With the indicator upgrades in Scintilla, 3rd parties are certainly capable of finding comments that start with /** and offering some indicator that they are documentation (see the round box indicator for an example).

As I have said in the past, including in [feature-requests:#942], extending the HTML lexer without a plan will just make it even harder to reform. Until there is a sensible plan for the evolution of the HTML lexer, its not being extended past 7 bits.
