Sometimes there is necessity to open old DOS cyrillic files with CP866 encoding. I propose to add this functionality into scintilla and scite. Attachment contains code for linux GTK support of 866 charset.
The documentation also needs patches for both Scintilla and SciTE since otherwise no one will know it can be used.
Added SciTEDoc.html. In scintilla documentation didn't found information about particular code pages.
Search for one of the symbols next to the symbol you added to the header.
Here you have two patches for latest versions of both scintilla and scite. Please insert into main version
