#808 Missing or wrong line spacing setup

Scintilla (792)

I am currently evaluating Notepad++ text editor which in turn uses the Scintilla text engine.

One (big) problem is that the line spacing in Scintilla is much different to those of other text editors.
As an example what I mean I attached a snapshots which show the same text with the same font (=Lucida Console)
on the same computer but different line spacing (=gap between two lines).

As you can see the line spacing in Notepad++ (=Scintilla) is MUCH BIGGER than the line spacing in the well known,
wide spread UltraEdit editor.

I hate waste of desktop space. So I am trying to find a way to decrease the line spacing in NotePad++ but was told
from Notepad++ support that the problem is part of Scintilla. The Scintilla does not offer a property for line spacing.
And NO it is NOT a font property issue.

Is there really no way of line spacing adjustment?
If yes: Could you include such a preference option in the next release?

Thank you

SciTE, another Scintilla-based editor shows the same line spacing as WordPad and UltraEdit. Your sample appears to have anti-aliasing turned off but the line spacing is the same.
