#50 Textselection doesnt stop @ end of file.

SciTE (625)

When selecting Text with the mouse and you move the
mouse under the window (holding button pressed of
course), selection won't stop when it reaches the end,
but starts all over again.
(windows 98SE)

    I can reproduce. :-(
I send you my global-properties (attached) so you could try it
using them. Might be a special problem with these specific
    settings (unwanted caret or such).
I can reproduce on win98SE and winXP.

    hi all,

first i would the the developers for this great editor, thx very
    much. :)

    now to the bug.

it is not really a bug, but find.replace.wrap changes the
behavior of the text selection with the mouse.

if you set find.replace.wrap to 0 then it stops at the last line of
    the file.

if find.replace.wrap is set to 1, it wraps from the last line to
    the first.

I have made some of the code a little more robust but still can
not see how this can be happening.

I have this problem too: 1.48 and Windows XP SP1 Home
    and it is quite annoying.

    How to reproduce:
Enable line wrapping and make a long line so that it wraps,
then fill in the rest of the line so that the file is long enough.
Now start from somewhere and scroll to the bottom and you
    should notice the bug.

It only works if the document contains a line that is wrapped.
If no line is wrapped the document selects fine.
