I can't enter a euro () symbol via keyboard or by
pasting into SciTE version 1.58 through 1.61. I can
enter the euro by keyboard or by pasting in many other
editors and apps though.
Have you chosen an encoding that supports the Euro such as
UTF-8. The common ISO-8859-1 encoding also called Latin-1
does not contain the Euro character.

I know. And I think I did. But then still it doesn't make
sense to prohibit entering a €, but not pasting. Anyway, the
bug seems to be fixed (on 1.66 at least, perhaps before).
