Scintilla crashes on a Mac running OS X 10.9 or earlier due to Scintilla's accessibility support that's only supported by OS X 10.10 or newer. Scintilla's default deployment target is 10.7. I only recently upgraded to 3.7.3 from 3.6.2 so the problem may have existed earlier. Included is a patch.
