When opening a new file the "All source" filter is
selected by default. This selection does not include all
known source extensions, for example: *.php

There is a limit imposed by Windows of around 256 characters
on the expression used as a filter. Thus there has to be an
arbitrary choice of extensions. You should modify
    source.files to suit your usage.
