Couble either bugs or features can't deside but annoying things.

Running Ubuntu and from terminal the "scite name"

Name opens -> terminal blocked.

Run scite from desktop and open name.
From terminal run "scite name2"

Now second scite window is opened. Scite supports tabbing and don't know why scite opens multiple scite editors from terminal.

Try "scite & name" -> "Scite: No such command"

I would like to have & switch for scite to work and open silent editor which don't block terminal access.

Also in my opinion scite not seeing it's own PID items and opening item to tab is a bug.

    These are mostly problems with the way you are using the terminal and not with SciTE. You should read up on using the command line.

    I have read, but it seams there is no command to open editor silently, no command to append new file to already open editor. In windows editors works like that. When you open file it will open to already open editor like notepad++.

    The source code could check porgram UID's when opened from terminal if there is available editor to open the file.

    Also might be good to add & support to make alias like "alias edit='scite &'".

    EDIT:
    I now found config to open same editor and open background settings. It works now how it should work by default.

    This can can moved to feature suggestion.
