#1497 Scite: Wrong lexing in Perl

A statement of creating a text variable containing more than 2 russian characters causes all the rest of the file be lexed wrong. The look of this wrong lexing depends of number of russian characters.

I met this bug with GTK version under Linux - scite-3.3.3 and with Windows version - scite-3.2.5 - under Wine.
