No

scim 1.4.14-5+b1
scim-m17n 0.2.3-3

despite having all m17n packages installed (and working), scim will not see the m17n IME.

$;scim -l
Smart Common Input Method 1.4.14

Available FrontEnd module:
    x11

Available Config module:
    simple
    dummy

Available IMEngine module:
    anthy
    chewing
    rawcode

running LinuxMint Debian (tracking Debian Jessie [testing]).

Any help/suggestions/clues would be greatly appreciated -- this is a big problem for me.

Thanks!

damn -- can you think of any reason why it might not be working for me? can you suggest anything I might check? i've tried as much as i can think of!

sorry about the late reply. scim has moved to github in the meantime. Is this still an issue for you? The output of "dpkg -l scim " would be a starter.

Sorry -- I've been using Fcitx for the last two years, as I was never able to resolve this.
