Initial Comment:
I'm looking for info about how to use that Latex 
module. Or even a person/place to ask for that info. A 
place to start searching?

I know this isn't really a bug, sorry bout that, but i 
cannot find any info on this.

the problem is also that more than a few hotkeys 
described in that help of the Latex module are not 
hotkeys i can press (i dont have qwerty for instance.).

can i change these hotkeys somewhere?

my impression of this module is that you should be able 
to get formula-like stuff in it, am i correct?

Can i get any manual or info on what all these hotkeys are  
in that plugin, what i can do with it and how to change the  
hotkeys? 
 
How can i get fractions? (or is that impossible?) 
 
how can i find the logical not (00 AC)?

You can use LaTeX module to input special characters by
using LaTeX grammer. For example: you can get λ by inputting
\lambda, get ∑ by inputting \sum.

Please refer to LaTeX manual for details.

forgot to mention that this is a Mandriva 2006, and that 
it's all installed from Mandriva binaries (maybe some from 
contrib as well) (but i do believe i pretty much installed 
everything available to scim.)
