Category: None Group: None Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Private: No Submitted By: huzheng (huzheng) >Assigned to: Choe Hwanjin (hwanjin) Summary: Can we change a Hangul-Hanja converting icon Initial Comment: scim-hangul. Can we change 韓 ----> 한 ? It is bit confused. https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=441195 The patch would be very simple, just open src/scim_hangul_imengine.cpp and replace the character. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Choe Hwanjin (hwanjin) Date: 2008-04-07 21:20 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=809190 Originator: NO It doesn't represent hangul/english input mode. scim-hangul has a special feature for inputing hanja(chinse character) which other korean input method don't. '韓' represents simple hanja input mode and '漢' represents extended hanja input mode. So if '韓' is changed to '한', the meaning will not correspond with '漢'. About hanja mode, see this link (unfortunately it's in korean): http://kldp.org/node/75048 But you may see how it works in the flash animation of the article. So I think it's not a bug. Dear project admin, please assign this bug to me (hwanjin). ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=650539&aid=1936449&group_id=108454 |
