#8 configure: error: Termcap not found

A link to the termcap database exists in /etc, which I
placed on the PATH explicitly. This did not work, so I
placed the path to the file on the PATH and this was
also unsuccessful.

I am running SuSE 7.3 and have installed all the libs
and Python programs noted on the scigraphica site.

I'm using Mandrake 9.0 and have exactly the same problem, so it seems not
to depend on SuSe 7.3
