    hello,

i would like to use scigraphica-features out of python programms. I think i have to import the pysga module, but pysga-module imports the sg-module, which i dont find in the scigraphica-distribution (mandrake-rpms) or elsewhere on the internet.

    Where is my fault?? ;-)

    Thank you,
       Nane

      Hi

The sg module is compiled into scigraphica, you cannot use it in python outside scigraphica.

To use python commands, open a terminal window using Script->Python terminal and type the commands there.
You can also import python scripts using File->Import.

You can also put limited one-liner scripts in worksheet cells.

      Cheers!

      Conrad

Would it be a nice idea to use scigraphica as a libary? So other python-programms could use scigraphicas great visualization capabilities without starting scigraphica at all?

      Greetings,
