As soon as I try to import a file, it crashes saying that there was a segmentation fault.
If I try to maximize the window it crashes straight away without any message.

I'm having the exact same issue, but let me post a bit more information. When scigraphica first starts I get an error for a missing python module:
Importing python module: numarray
ImportError: No module named numarray
Here's some details on what I'm running on.

Here's the first three lines of the data file I was trying to read in:
18.0 8 307.0 130.0 3504. 12.0 70 1 "chevrolet chevelle malibu"
15.0 8 350.0 165.0 3693. 11.5 70 1 "buick skylark 320"
18.0 8 318.0 150.0 3436. 11.0 70 1 "plymouth satellite"
The screenshots look great, so I'd love to get this app to run. Thanks for your hard work!
