Edinburgh Uni Sci-Fi&Fantasy Society MUD / News: Recent posts

As we don't have a server for the MUD at the moment, we can't do any real-world testing, and so development is a little bit slow. This should change when we finally get ADSL at my flat.
We do have the following features already working:
- compression of data-files (using libz) (can be compiled out if you don't have libz)
- ANSI colour
- Most telnet commands (including window-resizing)
- Combat (bare-handed only; needs completely reworking)
- Rooms, objects, "say", "emote", "announce", etc.
- respawning when you die (with appropriate penalties for dying)
