#54 comment editor box unresponsive to input paste
The comment editor box is often unresponsive to attempts to paste text (left click cursor to gain focus then click middle mouse button to paste). Repeatedly clicking the middle mouse button eventually succeeds in pasting the copied content. It's almost as if the system is I/O bound which makes no sense as there is nothing else going on. This bothersome behavior is unique to Sid vs. PC, no other apps exhibit this problem. This is extremely annoying, so much so that if all the moves are already present in the PGN file I'd rather add the comments by hand editing the file. OTOH, if one is adding the moves via the GUI you'd also like to add the comments at the same time. Please fix these comment editor GUI bugs as they greatly diminish the utility of this app. Thanks.
Sorry, but i really cant find a satisfactory way to fix this. On occasion when i'm having trouble, i use the control-v shortcut.
I am doing some related stuff, so maybe i'll find a solution.
