[Scidvspc-users] problems using correspondence (XFCC) feature

I am attempting to connect to the SchemingMind correspondence chess
server using SCIDvsMAC. This has worked in the past. However, I am now
receiving the following error:

SSL channel "sock17": error: sslv3 alert handshake failure

I can connect fine to the server URL using curl and the SM admin
confirms no issues on their end. Any idea what could be causing this?

The server URL is: https://www.schemingmind.com/xfcc/xfccbasic.asmx
