Well, alrighteeee then... So I've begun a CQL tutorial with 100+ examples planned. The tutorial is in its early stages and will likely be a work in progress for some months to come, covering CQLv5 and CQLv6 queries for themes and patterns applicable to regular over-the-board games and expanding to include queries oriented toward the chess problem domain. There are currently templates for 50+ examples in place with a dozen or so fleshed out to varying degrees to give a flavor of where I'm headed with this thing. Criticisms and ideas for additional examples are welcome. CQL has a steep learning curve but I'm attempting to demonstrate that it is well worth the effort even outside of the composition domain. https://haydoooke.github.io/Scidpp/cqltut.html -- Lionel On 5/11/19 12:12 AM, Lionel wrote: > > I'm working up a bunch of examples for the CQL search help page and > thought I'd solicit ideas from interested parties. > > The CQL reference manual already includes many example queries oriented > toward compositional themes.
