   No, that document has nothing to do with ScidvsPC.  It is a pdf of a 
chess book, displayed in a window that was scripted (outside of 
ScidvsPC) to be an overlay.  If he were to close ScidvsPC, the overlay 
window displaying the pdf book would still be there.

   Would it be reasonable to have a command shell window in ScidvsPC 
that could be docked or undocked and resized?  One could run a separate 
pdf display program (eg. acroread, okular, etc) in that window to 
display a pdf chess book.
