Hi, I received an error message from Sourceforge user Panos where he describes not being able to open or create files inside his home directory on his MS-Windows system. https://sourceforge.net/p/scidvspc/discussion/959281/thread/aac9f1be/ I'm guessing the issue is related to having non-ascii unicode characters in his user/home-directory name - which Scid has never been properly written to handle, and indeed is done poorly by Tcl - but am not sure. Does anyone have knowledge of this issue. If unicode chars in the filename *is* the problem - we can add simple checks in the GUI frontend to warn about such home directory names, but it is not a good solution, and i can't really test/fix the issue myself.
