I'm pretty sure the first one is a bug but not sure about the second:

 

1.       Sometimes when annotating games to a fixed depth some moves are not
annotated. I have seen this happen at depth 25, but not at depth 10 or 15.
However, this does not occur consistently.

2.       Certain moves are analysed at depths far greater than the max
depth. This seems to occur regardless of what the max depth is set to.

 

FYI I'm using the RC of 4.12, x64 version.
