[Scidvspc-users] Setup Board: Purpose of Invert, Transpose?

Hello all,

I'm looking to use the Setup Board screen in Scid Vs. PC
to set up a board that shows black at the /bottom/ of the screen.

(In other words, the board is shown from black's perspective).

I tried using "Swap Colors", "Invert" and "Transpose" to
flip the board to make it easier to setup the position.  However,
I can't get any of them to work correctly, because scid vs pc
still thinks that A1 is on the bottom left, so it tries to move
pawns backwards (to Queen).

What's the purpose of the Swap Colours, Invert and Transpose
buttons, and why isn't there a simple "flip board feature"?
