I've made a windows update for 15 december 2012. This version includes the previous svn changes (see below), a niggly tree mask bugfix, and a better Twin Games Checker - which highlights missing comments and variations in duplicate games. To use it, just overwrite the scid.exe and scid.gui files in your4.8 installation (in the "bin" directory) with the files in this archive. http://sourceforge.net/projects/scidvspc/files/windows-beta/scidvspc_20121215.zip/download One thing that i'm curious about - Analysis engines have always been started with low priority in windows. This beta removes that, and engines should start with normal priority. Does this give anyone problems ? Steve > * Move search feature (eg 'h6 Bxh6') > * Delete key now deletes moves in game/variation *after* the current move > * Score Graphs are now bargraphs instead of lines > * 'Game Save' dialog now remembers any custom tags you add to a game, > making them easy to recall > > * Bind statusbar->middle button to 'switch base'. > * Some clock improvements for FICS and Play against UCI engine. > * FICS game offers now show more information, and FICS has a premove feature > * Crosstable: handle games with a year-only date more appropriately. > * Add a few new board textures (from Ed Collins) > * Allow the Name editor to glob '*' for Site, Event and Round fields |
