I can't change the language on SciDAVis 2.4.0 (Windows 1909). Only English is available in Edit > Preferences > Language.
I have tested on several computers, same issue.
Translations files are present in C:\Program Files (x86)\SciDAVis\translations.
SciDAVis 2.3.0 is not affected.
Installing scidavis.2.3.0-win-dist.msi after installing scidavis.2.4.0-win-dist.msi solve this issue.
Appears to be fixed in scidavis.2.7
This issue will crop up occasionally, as git does not play nicely with the Qt linguist program.
I tried Scidavis 2.7 (fresh install on a computer without scidavis) but unfortunately the issue is still present.
Yes - just tried it on a machine that has never had SciDaVis installed. Oh bother!
This is fixed now. CMakes QtLinguist plugin insists on putting the compiled translations in a different directory to where scidavis expects them.
It seams that this bug is back. I'm using SciDavis 2.9.2 on Linux. The translation files are there, but SciDavis does not see it and the options show on the English item.
