It took a while and we've had some internal glitches with the migration to new infrastructure in Fedora, but since this evening, SciDAVis has hit the testing repositories and it is now available on F25, F26, F27 (which is in beta) as well as rawhide.
I want to thank you all for your help - I will probably need it again.
