So you have this issue that bugs you. What to do? Follow these few steps.

How Do I Make Sure I am not Dreaming this Issue?

Sometimes, a software can behave strangely when the system becomes unstable.
Try to quarantine your problem: close down your computer,
restart SCID and try reproduce the behaviour you just encountered.
Document your process.

If not even you can reproduce the bug what you just experienced, it will be tough to debug.

Am I Alone in Having This Issue?

Let's hope not.

You can try to report the issue on the [MailingList].
If there are ways to help remedy to this issue, you'll get help.
At the very least, you won't feel alone.

Perhaps the issue has already been reported in the BugsTracker.
You can do a search there to see if your issue has been filed.
If it's not, why not file it there?

Please take time to describe everything one would need to know to reproduce the issue:

• a step by step sequence to reproduce the problem;
• the operating system on which it is tested;
• which versions of SCID are affected by the problem.
