I agree with David. I have not used ChessBase since around 1998. I
remember having bought it back in 1996, with a so-called "dongle". This
was an ugly thingie that I had to stick in the parallel port - or else
ChessBase wouldn't run. I gave it away a year later, so wasted app. 2500
danish kr. I would never dream of using it again.

If anyone should write a program to convert from chessbase format to
pgn, I'd say it should be the chessbase developers.
