Thanks in advance. This is very painful because the notation windows is systematically hidden behind the board windows at startup so I need to move the bord window then move my notation window and then replace the board!

It seems to be a bug in the Window version of the Tk libray.
In the file tcl/windows/pgn.tcl add at line 48 (before "menu $w.menu"):
update idletasks
