#169 how to add a java engine ?

i can not add a java engine to Scid v4.7.1 .. i tried it with several .jar files by doing "java -jar myengine.jar" but i get an error .. i also tried to fill in the concerning directory .. and i tried to put the command into a bash file (.sh) but executing that also fails .. this happens with both UCI and Xboard engines, none of them are accepted by Scid these ways .. is it possible ? How ? I'm on Xubuntu 21.10.
