Gus Peterson:

Please add:

OpenFOAM for cokmputational fluid dynamics
and
FREEMAT because it is a MATLAB clone

Many Scientific users use MATLAB so FREEMAT is a logical choice
and OpenFOAM is the only comprehensive fluid dynamics package out there.

Thanks for making SciBUNTU happen, it's about time!

I hadn't found a deb-file for FREEMAT. Is there one?

According to a WebSVN site in Germany, FreeMAT has been debianised. Octave is another candidate. -- Chuck
