Salstat seems to be a nice statistics package, written in Python.
A link is in the code but no code that actually installs something.
Is Salstat something we need? Does it do the job? Development seems to have stopped. Is that a problem?
What do you think?

Isn't all of this functionality in R? And in a far more stable and well-tested form? If you like Python, the RPy package would help your Python code work nicely with R. Ubuntu should have no shortage of Python experts to help get that going. -- Chuck
