Hello, I am a GNU/Linux enthusiast, I work for a little NGO where we
want to build a custom Linux Mint flavor with many apps for kids
education.

Your app, childsplay/schoolsplay (I don't still know exactly the
difference), is interesting to us. I have tried to package it on
current Linux Mint 21.3 (Ubuntu Jammy based), but I cannot use it
since it needs old python2/python2 tools.

Is it Ok if I try to adapt the code to python3? Can I use my github,
or is there any better way?

Is this app still alive?
