SchemaSpy 1.7.0 released

SchemaSpy analyzes schema metadata, letting you click through the hierarchy of your tables' parent/child relationships either graphically or through HTML tables. It works with just about any RDBMS given an appropriate JDBC driver. SchemaSpy also identifies several common schema anomalies.

SchemaSpy is available at

You can browse a sample of its output at http://schemaspy.sourceforge.net/sample/

Highlights of Release 1.7.0:

- SchemaSpy now supports PostgreSQL in addition to Oracle, MySQL, DB2, SQL Server and Sybase. Other database types can be easily added.

- SchemaSpy has a new 'Columns' page that lists all of the columns in your schema, including column details. The intent of this page is to make it easier to find inconsistencies in your schema as well as to simplify metadata searches. E.g., you can easily determine everywhere that you're using a 'timestamp'.
