After a 5 year break, I've released a very Alpha version of Scanmap3D-4.0. Now based on the jMonkeyEngine and focused on showing the content of pcap files rather than Snort alerts. The new version directly reads pcap files and does not use an SQL database.

The previous iterations of Scanmap3D were based on Java3D and showed MySQL data logged by snort, for either log analysis or alert monitoring.

This project is now part of a Research Project
