#8 Scanner is not supported anymore

Hello :)
i have here an CanonScan Lide 20: http://sarah-a-happy.livejournal.com/91774.html
I need these funktion not very often, about every 2years. On 2013 it worked fine, but today i should scan about 100 sites of contracts, offers,... i start the daemon, but when i pressed an button nothing is going. Here are the logs:
