Scaffold Hunter v2.3.0 has been published today. This release does a huge step forward in functionality and stability. It adds a new tree map view and includes many small design and work flow improvements, and even more bug fixes. The tree map view displays the scaffold tree in a new way, that is especially suited for large data sets and subtree comparisons (see screenshot [1]). It was developed during the Google Summer of Code 2013 by Jeroen Lappenschaar. Furthermore, we like to welcome our new contributor Sven Schrinner, who will work on maintenance and implementation tasks. He already improved the tree map view in many ways and contributed the majority of other changes / bug fixes in this release. Please note that the current release breaks session compatibility and that sessions from previous versions might not be completely restored. For a more detailed explanation of the changes made in this version see the changelog [2] or the SVN history [3].
