It would be helpful to just copy the hex code of a color and paste it to another view, subset or from edge to node background.

we use the regular JColorChooser. There seems to be a bug for the native look and feel that prohibits the pasting of hex codes in the color chooser. When using the classical java look and feel the pasting works as expected.
