First of all, forgive my lame english.
I bought an EasyNote A8 yesterday. Looks like this is
the first non-Acer laptop that uses a Smart Battery.
Intel ASL compiler doesn't compile this file (buggy DSDT?):
b-easynote-a8.dsl 518: If (LEqual (And
(PDC0, 0x0A), 0x0A))
Error 1061 - Object does not
exist ^ (PDC0)
pb-easynote-a8.dsl 523: If (LEqual (And
(PDC1, 0x0A), 0x0A))
Error 1065 - Object not accessible from this
scope ^ (PDC1)
pb-easynote-a8.dsl 1856: Method

Warning 2085 - Not all control paths return a

Patching the original does not work, as expected.
Thanks for your efforts. I've fixed about 4 Acer
laptops with these patches in my LUG.
