Hi,

I would like to assist porting your sbs system to the
above mentioned laptop. I have included a file that
contains original (bios version) dsdt, my "bug fixed"
dsdt, fadt, kernel config and boot messages with acpi
debugging enabled. Also some other information is provided.

You do not need the SBS Linux project to get the status of
the battery and AC adaptor on the Aspire 5021. Use a 2.6.13
or newer kernel (or 2.6.12 with ACPI patches) and the kernel
boot parameter "ec_burst=1" to get the status of the AC
adaptor and battery.
