just tried the 2303 patch diff file, it's working perfectly, i'm using mandrake 10.1 and tried the initrd method for inserting the DSDT !
my kde now has a battery monitor,
great job, kudos for the developer !
i'll test this for awhile and let you know if there's some bug afterwards, haven't tried the spinlock patch, i just increased the interval for the check_status in klaptop
and i'm using the supplied mandrake kernel

What TravelMate do u have ... Because i try do patch the dsl
and it says :
