The battery stats for this laptop are not accessible as
well, so I would appreciate any help on this and of
course I am offering any assistance you need :-)

Well, I was impatient and could not wait until you solved
_my_ problem, so I tried to patch the DSDT file myself and
found it pretty straightforward.

Thanks to your cool work I now have working battery stats!!!

So to help others as well, I have attached the fitting
patchfile for my Acer Aspire 1682WLMi.
