The terms #264 (relative inhibition constant) and #363 (activation constant) have parent terms that specifically bind them to be kinetic/biochemical modeling. In population-based models, activation and inhibition can also take place, but these terms cannot be used to annotate corresponding quantitative parameters because it would imply a biochemical/reaction-based origin. It would, therefore, be desirable to create a separate branch in which the same terms can be used as special cases of different parent terms. This would extend the possible use cases of SBO to annotate further classes of models.
